ABBOTSFORD – Hospitals in the Eastern Fraser Valley will benefit from some $200,000 raised through a mid-November masquerade ball in Abbotsford.
The event at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center was presented by the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) and sought to collect dollars for life-saving equipment upgrades.
“The night began with a stunning acrobatic performance by Abbotsford Dance Centre, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening,” FVHCF said in a Facebook post.
A live auction, which featured the use of a private suite for an Abbotsford Canucks game and Taylor Swift tickets, accounted for about $19,000 of the funds raised.
