Fraser Valley brims with holiday spirit with Christmas Craft Fairs
FRASER VALLEY — The holiday season is underway, and the Fraser Valley is bursting with festive cheer as several Christmas craft fairs are set to keep shoppers and families busy on Saturday (Nov. 30).
In Chilliwack, the Ryder Lake Christmas Craft Fair will welcome visitors from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ryder Lake Hall, 49265 Elk View Road. The fair promises a wide selection of handcrafted goods, perfect for holiday gift-giving or stocking stuffers.
St. John’s Anglican Church, located at 46098 Higginson Rd., will also host its Annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Guests can indulge in home-baked goods, including breads, pies, jams, and chutneys. Pre-packaged homemade cookies will be available in $5, $15, and $20 boxes. Porch pots with colorful potted arrangements will sell for $40, while gently used Christmas decorations and other handmade items will round out the offerings.
In Abbotsford, the Christmas in the Commons Market will bring holiday magic to 35011 Old Clayburn Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shoppers can browse a variety of artisan stalls for unique, one-of-a-kind gifts. Santa Claus will make a special appearance to the delight of children and families. A food truck serving festive flavors will ensure attendees stay merry and bright.
