ABBOTSFORD — A bear has been reportedly euthanized following some kind of wildlife incident that impacted traffic in both directions on Highway 1 east of Abbotsford Tuesday morning.
Drive BC reported at 8:38 a.m. Tuesday morning (Oct. 3) on social media that an eastbound wildlife incident near Cole Road had been blocking the left lane of Highway 1 traffic.
At the time of the social media post, Drive BC indicated the westbound left lane is partially blocked. Drive BC added that it urged motorists to watch for wildlife. It added an emoji of a bear as if to suggest that the wildlife incident involved a bear.
