Arts Councils gear up for season of music in Mission, Maple Ridge

MISSION — The region’s arts sector is looking ahead to the season of pumpkin spice and golden leaves with the announcement of a new musical lineup in Maple Ridge and Mission.

The Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Arts Council has partnered with Mission to bring “Arts On” to the Clarke Theatre for the first time.

Maple Ridge is kicking off the fall performances on September 18 at Burnett Church with The McDades, a five-piece band of siblings performing Celtic-rooted folk, jazz influence and global rhythms in both English and French.

Harmonies then move on to Mission on November 28 for Shari Ulrich and The Unfaithful Servants, two iconic names in Canadian acoustic music, before continuing December 19 with the beloved, long-running seasonal Winter Harp performance.
