Langley RCMP renews call for help finding missing woman, Kristina Ward
LANGLEY — It’s a nightmare that never goes away for the parents of Kristina Ward.
Langley Mounties issued a press release Tuesday (Sept. 26) stating it has now been six years since Kristina Ward was last seen in Surrey. Ward was reported missing in September 2017. She was last seen on surveillance video at 144 Street and 104 Avenue in Surrey on September 27, 2017 sometime between 7:50 and 8:45 p.m. September 27 also marks the last time Kristina used her cell phone, or had her bank accounts accessed.
“We are pleading to the public for tips to bring closure to the family and to bring Kristina back home,” Constable Simon Lepine of the Langley RCMP wrote in a statement. “Anyone with information that might assist in locating Kristina is asked to please call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200. Should you need to remain anonymous, please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.”
Ward is now 26 years old and is described as 5’5, 130 pounds, with curly brown hair and brown eyes. Investigators have received several “tips’”relating to her but unfortunately, none have proven fruitful. She was last seen with an unidentified male on video surveillance at the intersection of 104 Avenue and 144 Street.
