**Update Wednesday morning: Drive BC says Highway 1 has reopened in both directions Wednesday morning.**
NORTH VANCOUVER — Drive BC reported Tuesday night (Sept. 19) at 7:16 p.m. that Highway 1 is closed eastbound at the Main Street overpass after a truck hit an overpass.
The vehicle incident occurred between Fern Street and Railway Street in the District of North Vancouver.
Drive BC says motorists should expect delays due to heavy congestion and is advising drivers to use the Lions Gate Bridge instead.
