Abbotsford softball player joins Team Canada roster for 2026 international championship
ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford is playing ball on the world stage at the Canada Cup International Softball Championship this year.
The 29-year-old Callum Maskill, formerly Callum Pilgrim, is joining Team Canada’s 16-woman roster for the championship at Softball City in Surrey.
“British Columbia has long been a powerhouse for softball in Canada, and having nine athletes represent their province at the Canada Cup is a reflection of the incredible talent developed here,” said Head Coach Kaleigh Rafter.
“Playing in front of family, friends and young athletes who dream of one day wearing the maple leaf makes this tournament a truly special experience for our players.”
