CHILLIWACK — Round 2 of Old Man Winter should bring a bit more snow later today in Chilliwack, but nothing like earlier this week.

Environment Canada is predicting snowfall accumulations of anywhere between 2-5 centimeters. Snow should begin falling at around 6 p.m., according to Environment Canada’s hourly forecast for Chilliwack.

In the meantime, bitterly cold sub-zero temperatures remain in the forecast. Slippery conditions due to snow and temperatures near freezing will persist. There’s a risk of freezing rain that may impact the evening commute.

A low pressure system will brush the south coast today and bring another round of snow to Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, southern sections of Howe Sound, the Sunshine Coast near Gibsons and the Southern Gulf Islands.
