CHILLIWACK — Mounties with the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment hope to give back to the community with their annual “Stuff the Cruiser” food drive starting this weekend in four communities.

In a statement from police, local Mounties say the initiative has become an established Christmas holiday tradition, rallying community spirit and becoming one of the largest contributors to local food banks during the Christmas season.

“Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and residents, Stuff the Cruiser continues to make meaningful impact,” the RCMP said. “This year, the UFVRD invites everyone to help “stuff” police cruisers with non-perishable food items or cash donations at designated locations throughout the detachment region.”
