Missing Chilliwack senior found deceased

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack RCMP say the 85-year-old man reported missing Friday, November 28, has been found deceased.

In a statement issued Tuesday, police reported that the senior was located by a “partner law enforcement agency”, but no further information will be released out of respect for the family.

“The Chilliwack RCMP wish to thank everyone who participated in looking for him over the past four days,” said Sgt. Alexandra Greenley. “We offer our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.”

The man’s next of kin has been notified.
