Stolen truck in Mission could be linked to separate theft incident: RCMP
MISSION — Mounties in Mission say a black pickup truck stolen from a house over the weekend in Mission could be linked to another incident of crime involving an attempted trailer theft.
Mission RCMP say a black 2001 GMC pickup was stolen from a house on 4th Avenue on the night of Friday, November 28 and into Saturday, Nov. 29. Not long after, on the night of Sunday, November 30 into Monday morning, December 1, a black GMC pickup was reportedly involved in an attempted theft of a trailer on Ito Place. Although it has not been confirmed to be the same truck, police say the possibility remains.
Mission RCMP are asking for the public to keep an eye out for this truck, which has a wooden box, a headache rack, and has stickers for an excavation company on the side of it.
If the truck is seen driving, people are asked to phone 9-1-1. If you otherwise have seen this truck around town, or have information about its location, call Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161 and quote file 25-15176.
