Chilliwack RCMP to host pop-up event, with emphasis on E-scooter rules and regs

CHILLIWACK – Members of the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment will be looking to connect with Chilliwack residents at a community pop-up event later this week where E-scooter rules and regulations will be featured and discussed.

Chilliwack RCMP members look forward to meeting the public this Friday, August 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Vedder Park, 45450 Petawawa Road near Garrison.

Police say the event gives members of the public a chance to talk to police in person about policing, meet local Mounties, and ask them just about any question under the sun.

Police will also have information available about e-scooter safety, including the rules, requirements, and tips for riding safely.
