AbbyPD returns ‘determined’ toddler almost reported missing

ABBOTSFORD — Some local parents have managed to breathe a heavy sigh of relief after police brought their child back from a solo venture near Crossley Park.

The Abbotsford Police Department says last weekend, officers spotted the “determined” three-year-old out on a bike ride without a guardian.

Police took him into their care and reunited him with his parents, who were “just about” to report him missing.

AbbyPD officers have investigated more than 130 missing-person cases this year to date, with most files resulting in the safe location and return of the individual.
