36-year-old man charged in Abbotsford drug trafficking ring; over 12 kgs of drugs seized
ABBOTSFORD – Police in Abbotsford say a 36-year-old man has been charged for his alleged role in a drug trafficking investigation that saw authorities seize more than 12 kgs of illicit drugs, over $60K in currency, body armour, a firearm and ammunition.
AbbyPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Walker says patrol officers observed a man associated to local drug trafficking driving a vehicle in April 2025 despite having a driving prohibition. Abbotsford PD officers followed the vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver. During the arrest, officers located illegal drugs and a handgun in his possession.

As a result of this arrest, the Abbotsford Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit initiated Project Interruption, an investigation targeting 36-year-old Tyler Missen and his alleged involvement in drug trafficking within Abbotsford.
