Several puppies appear to have been abandoned at Chilliwack SPCA, as society appeals for info
CHILLIWACK – The BC SPCA chapter in Chilliwack says it is appealing to the community for information after it appears that five puppies were left inside a broken crate at its property in Greendale overnight.
The SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) wrote in a social media post that the five pups appear to have been placed outside its gate, inside a crate that didn’t close, and it’s looking to locate the owner as soon as possible.
It says it’s looking to better understand what the responsible party or parties intended by leaving the puppies at its gate and hopes to complete the proper paperwork to officially surrender the pups into its care.
