ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department caught up to a 31-year-old female who was definitely up to no good on a Sunday morning near Costco in Abbotsford.

According to a social media post from the department, AbbyPD patrol members located a stolen vehicle from a neighbouring jurisdiction in the 1200 block of Sumas Way on Sunday, September 24 at 10:47 a.m. Police say a female suspect was observed associated with the parked vehicle.

A takedown resulted in the recovery of the stolen vehicle as well as the identification and arrest of 31-year-old Jennifer Toutsaint, who also was breaching several court-ordered conditions from previous charges. Bear-mace, tools commonly utilized for property crime and a machete have been seized, police said.

Charges of possession of stolen property contrary to section 355 of the Criminal Code, as well as four counts of breach of probation contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code have been forwarded by AbbyPD.
