Trans Mountain says it has restored the Hope Lookout Trail parking lot and trailhead
HOPE — Trans Mountain says it has restored the Hope Lookout Trail to an even better condition as pipeline expansion and related construction activities happened in the area.
In a statement on its website, Trans Mountain says it is committed to “supporting the communities impacted by construction” as part of the Trans Mountain Expansion project.
“Our goal is simple: to leave areas better than we found them,” Trans Mountain wrote in a statement on its website. “In Hope, British Columbia, we’ve been working near the Hope Lookout Trail – a popular 2.3-kilometre hiking route that offers breathtaking views of the area. Throughout construction in the region, the trail remained open with clear signs to guide hikers safely through our work zones.”
