AbbyPD seizes car of teen ‘N’ driver clocked going three times the speed limit
ABBOTSFORD — A Dodge driver has failed to dodge the consequences of high-risk driving as Abbotsford police take action against the young speedster.
On September 9, just after 10 a.m., an AbbyPD Youth Squad officer tried to stop an orange Dodge Charger driving dangerously by Abbotsford Secondary. The car then flew by at a high speed and nearly caused a collision at a red light.
A traffic officer with the Abbotsford Police Department later found the vehicle near Rick Hansen Secondary, where it fled through a playground zone and almost struck the officer’s car.
The 17-year-old “N” driver was then clocked going 150 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. Police have since identified the teen.
