Police in Maple Ridge appeal for more info after male massage therapist charged with sexual assault

MAPLE RIDGE – Police in Maple Ridge are appealing to the public for more information and any additional victims to come forward in connection to a sexual assault investigation against a 39-year-old massage therapist.

Maple Ridge Mounties were advised of an alleged sexual assault involving a registered massage therapist working in that capacity that occurred at a massage therapy clinic in Maple Ridge in December 2025.

Police conducted an investigation and later arrested the male suspect, identified as Christian Aquilizan from Vancouver. He has now been charged with two counts of sexual assault, under Section 271 of the Criminal Code.

His next court appearance is scheduled for July 8, 2026.
