Vehicle torched at charging station in Hope Wednesday morning
HOPE – Firefighters in Hope are being credited with a swift response to a vehicle-charging fire outside a grocery store in Hope Wednesday morning.
Hope Fire Chief Thomas Cameron says fire crews arrived within minutes and quickly contained the fire before it could spread to a nearby motel.
“Their actions prevented what had the potential to become a far more serious incident,” the Hope Fire Dept. said.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
