On Tuesday (Sep. 2), AbbyPD’s Traffic Unit partnered with the Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) team to conduct random mobile inspections of commercial trucks across the city, resulting in:
- 16 inspections,
- 27 violation tickets,
- Nine vehicles taken out of service,
- Six Notice and Orders, and
- One driver receiving a four-month suspension.
“AbbyPD is grateful for our continued partnership with CVSE in promoting road safety and ensuring commercial vehicles operate within legal standards,” wrote Abbotsford police.
