Chilliwack choir hits a high note in local long-term care facilities
CHILLIWACK — Local seniors have recently enjoyed live music performances from the comfort of their long-term care homes, thanks to continued generous funding from a donor in Chilliwack.
In early May, the Chilliwack Harmony Chorus performed for Heritage Village residents and, more recently, at the Bradley Centre. Both events received resoundingly positive feedback.
“This was a wonderful way to enrich the lives of our residents”, shared Kevin Davey, recreation therapist at Heritage Village. “So many of our residents attended, we had to add extra chairs to fit everyone in.”
The Chorus has previously enchanted local audiences at other Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) events, such as “It’s a Wonderful Breakfast.”
