CHILLIWACK — The Upper Fraser Valley RCMP detachment in Chilliwack announced Tuesday morning that the Chilliwack RCMP Drug Unit carried out five search warrants to intercept the drug supply for a street-level drug trafficking network.

According to a statement, police say that the Chilliwack RCMP Drug Unit launched an investigation in October 2024 into a drug trafficking group suspected of operating in Mission, B.C. Police say that over the course of several months, investigators gathered evidence which led the Chilliwack RCMP Drug Unit to initiate an investigation into a suspected dial-a-dope line. By employing a number of investigative strategies, investigators identified the suspects involved in the drug trafficking.

On January 31, 2025, Chilliwack RCMP Drug and Crime Reduction Units, with the assistance of the Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team (IERT), executed five search warrants at three Mission residences and two vehicles.

The following was seized by authorities during the search:

  • 172.72 grams of suspected cocaine;
  • 33.58 grams of suspected crack cocaine;
  • 2.94 grams of suspected methamphetamine;
  • 4 firearms;
  • $15,240 cash; and
  • 2 vehicles including:
  • 2020 Tesla Model 3
  • 2004 Acura 1.7EL.

Police say three individuals were arrested and have since been released pending further investigation.

“This seizure is another example of our commitment to keeping harmful drugs off our streets,” said Inspector Bowerman, Operations Support Officer for the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment. “Our officers will continue to take action and hold those involved in illegal activity accountable.”

The Chilliwack RCMP says it remains committed to combatting organized crime and drug trafficking. If you have information about a crime and wish to report it, please call the Chilliwack RCMP, or report anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
