Chilliwack Chiefs upend Coquitlam

CHILLIWACK — Stone Rolston and Matt Argentina scored in the first period to lead the Chilliwack Chiefs to a 2 – 1 victory over the Coquitlam Express Saturday (Feb. 10) at the Chilliwack Coliseum.

The win allowed the Chiefs to exact some revenge on the Express who had beaten Chilliwack by a 2 – 1 score the night before in Coquitlam.

Chiefs netminder Vladimir Nikitin faced 26 shots from Coquitlam while Chilliwack fired 25 shots at Ehan Simcoe in the Coquitlam net.

The two teams will meet again Friday at 7 p.m. at the Coliseum.
