Highway 1 improvement program representatives to meet with Chilliwack City Council

CHILLIWACK — When Chilliwack City Council gathers for its regular meeting Tuesday (Oct. 10), the Highway 1 corridor will be front and centre once again.

Council will receive a delegation from the provincial government that includes Elena Farmer, Project Director, and Stephanie Rothman, Deputy Director, of the Fraser Valley Highway 1 Corridor Improvement Program.

The group is expected to present the latest information on the project to city council.

The state of the highway has become a hot topic for residents of the Fraser Valley who are having to navigate through cluttered traffic lanes more often.
