ABBOTSFORD — A Fraser Valley driver with a lead foot and questionable decision-making will have to find an alternate form of transportation for the next week.
According to a social media post early Thursday, patrol officers from the Abbotsford Police Department caught up to the driver of a Chrysler 300-looking vehicle after it was observed driving over 180 kilometres an hour on Highway 1 overnight.
The driver with an “N” (novice) license was served with a violation ticket for excessive speeding and failing to produce a driver’s license.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days.
