Swing with Bling women’s golfing charity event happens Sept. 21 in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD — Women from across the Fraser Valley are invited to grab their golf clubs, best friends and best bling to support the Fraser Valley Child Development Centre next month.

The Fraser Valley Child Development Centre will hold its “Swing with Bling” charity golf classic on Thursday, September 21 at the picturesque 18-hole Fraserglen Golf Course in Abbotsford.

The event promises to be a fabulous day of golf, prizes and fundraising for the Fraser Valley Child Development Centre, which officially formed in 1990 and provides community-based programs and services, infant and child specialty services and family supports to families in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Hope and Mission. It has 95 staff and services approximately 3,600 children, youth and their families annually.

The “Swing with Bling” theme encourages participants to dig deep into their closets and find the best apparel and accessories out there! Not only does this theme create endless laughs and memories, there will also be a prize for the “blingiest” team!
