Abbotsford police looking into suspicious fire early this morning

ABBOTSFORD — Witnesses are being sought to determine how a fire was started Friday (Aug. 11) around midnight in Abbotsford.

In a social media message, Abbotsford Police say emergency crews were called to attend a fire that had broken out in the 31000 block of Wagner Drive.

Firefighters from the Abbotsford Fire Department were able to extinguish the flames quickly and there were no injuries in the fire. However the cause of the fire hasn’t been released.

Police are asking for anyone with information, or even video that was taken in the area around the time of the fire, to contact authorities. Potential witnesses should contact the AbbyPD at 604 859-5225.
