Chilliwack Chiefs add big forward to roster
CHILLIWACK — With the start of training camp just around the corner, the Chilliwack Chiefs are continuing to fine-tune their lineup for the 2023-24 BCHL season.
The latest addition is 6’3 and 174 lbs forward Harrison Boldt. The 17-year-old was signed after a strong showing at the Chiefs ID camp earlier this year.
“The stars have aligned with this one. While the Chiefs get a really good prospect,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney. “Harrison is a big, strong power forward that has a bright future in this game. We have the opportunity to work with him and help him understand how to use his big frame to be an effective player, not only in this league but the NCAA.”
Boldt grew up in Alberta. Since then his family has relocated to the Fraser Valley. He spent last season with the OHA Edmonton U18 Prep team. In 30 games, he scored 12 goals and 14 assists for 26 points.
