HOPE — A person has reportedly died after a serious vehicle incident near Caroline Mine Road on Highway 5 Tuesday morning (August 1).
According to published reports, a collision occurred between a passenger vehicle and a commercial flatbed truck. The incident reportedly happened in the southbound lanes just before the Caroline Mine Road exit Tuesday.
BC Emergency Health Services reportedly responded at about 8:33 a.m. for the report of a motor vehicle incident north of Hope.
Corporal Dave Moon, a forensic collision reconstructionist with Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (LMD-ICARS), wrote on Twitter that ICARS had been dispatched for a serious vehicle incident near Caroline Mine Road.
