Maple Ridge man wins new car, $2,500 from scratchcard

MAPLE RIDGE — A local man is revved up after winning a new muscle car off a Scratch & Win ticket this month.

Jeffrey P. bought the $5 7-RUN ticket at 7-Eleven on 200th Street and 72nd Avenue in Langley after winning $15 from a complimentary 7-RUN ticket at the same store.

When he was contacted about winning, BCLC said he told the caller, “Get out of town!”

“It’s slightly surreal,” P. said.

The Maple Ridge resident retrieved the grand prize, a 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium, at a celebration event in the Coquitlam Metro Ford on Tuesday, June 23.

He was also one of three winners of a Top Prize of $2,500, along with an entry into the car draw.

7-RUN, the partnership between BCLC and 7-Eleven Canada, launched in January and offered customers a guaranteed win of either a cash prize or a food or drink item from 7-Eleven.
