Chilliwack non-profit to hold BBQ, garage sale and bake sale this Saturday

CHILLIWACK — The Compassionate Neighbourhood Health Partners Society (CNHPS) of Chilliwack, which provides support to local seniors and caregivers, will hold its spring fundraiser and BBQ this Saturday, June 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Alliance Church, 8700 Young Road.

There’s something for everyone to appreciate this Saturday as organizers plan activities such as a garage sale, bake sale, bottle drive, cake walk, face painting, train rides, and more.

Attendees are invited to drop off any extra bottles or cans they might have for the ongoing bottle drive.

Fresh, homemade baked goods will be available for sale while supplies last.

Chuck, a dedicated volunteer for CNHPS, will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for patrons. Chips and drinks are also available for purchase.

All proceeds benefit CNHPS, a Chilliwack-based non-profit organization that not only supports and connects seniors in Chilliwack, but also provides support to caregivers of older adults in Chilliwack. CNHPS facilitates activities and one-on-support for seniors who are unable to attend group events and functions.

CNHPS is a registered charitable society consisting of trained volunteers who provide a variety of support services for older adults in Chilliwack. All services are provided free of charge as it promotes the physical, spiritual, and psychosocial well-being of older adult neighbours living with advanced chronic conditions through neighbourhood activation.
