CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack RCMP and ambulance responded to some kind of police incident Saturday night near Peach Park at the southern end of Peach Road.
According to multiple reports and pictures from social media Saturday night, several police and ambulance units responded to the parking lot of Peach Park for an emergency-type incident that may have involved shots fired.
One Chilliwack resident reported on social media that he was on a walk with his dogs around Webster and heard four gunshots at around 8 p.m. This same individual said he soon heard sirens coming from all locations.
Another Peach Road-area resident reported seeing six police cars respond urgently to the Peach Road parking lot area.
