Spring fair carnival in Chilliwack moved back a week

CHILLIWACK — Instead of being scheduled for the first weekend of Chilliwack School District’s two-week spring break, the Chilliwack Spring Fair has been pushed back a week.

Instead of Thursday, March 16 through Sunday, March 19, the Chilliwack Spring Fair will be returning to the grounds of the Chilliwack Coliseum for a four-day carnival run starting Thursday, March 23 through to Sunday, March 26.

The festivities feature rides, treats and good times for the whole family, Coliseum management said in a statement issued in late February.

“We are excited to once again be partnering with West Coast Amusements. It’s a great opportunity to work with an organization run by a local Fraser Valley family. Every time we’ve been able to host them here, it’s been great to see so many of our community members come out and enjoy the hospitality,” said Vice-President of the Coliseum, Barry Douglas.
