Surrey RCMP looking for missing 14-year-old male

SURREY — Surrey RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old boy who was last seen on Thursday afternoon, March 2.

According to Cst. Sarbjit Sangha, media relations officer for the Surrey RCMP, Joseph Chen was last seen at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 2 in the 16200 block of 88 Ave in Surrey. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Joseph Chen is described as a 14-year-old Asian male, 5′6″, 123 lbs., with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a khaki-coloured jacket and brown pajama pants with a teddy bear pattern on the pant legs. Police and family are concerned for his health and well-being, as police say it is out of character for Chen to be out of touch this long.
