Abbotsford fire sends four to hospital

ABBOTSFORD — Four people were taken to hospital following a Sunday afternoon fire in Abbotsford.

Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service were called out to the fire in the 2600 block of Tessaro Crescent. When crews arrived, they found the main floor of the building fully involved.

BC Emergency Services says six ambulances were sent to the fire at 1:41 p.m. Paramedics cared for and transported four people to hospital. However, the condition of the injured individuals has not been released.

Abbotsford Police also responded to the fire and assisted fire crews with traffic control. Although the cause of the fire hasn’t been released, police say it was not suspicious.
