7 candidates to vie for Cultus Lake Park Board as two incumbents bow out
CULTUS LAKE/CHILLIWACK – Seven candidates have filed paperwork to run for five seats on the Cultus Lake Park Board as two incumbents decided not to seek another four-year term.
The park board consists of two elected representatives from Chilliwack and three from Cultus Lake.
There are three candidates running to represent Chilliwack, including incumbent commissioner Darcy Bauer, former park board commissioner David Renwick, and candidate Steve Marks.
On the Cultus Lake side, incumbent Commissioner and Park Board chair Kirk Dzaman and fellow incumbent Erika Jartved are running, and so are candidates Blair Stewart and Jono Willocks.
