Thousands of customers are without power in Langley Wednesday

LANGLEY – Over 3,400 customers in Langley have been without power for at least an hour on Wednesday.

BC Hydro’s online dashboard indicates 1,251 customers east of 224 Street, west of 272 Street, and south of Fraser Highway saw their power go out at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday morning (Sept. 16).

Crews are on site, but there’s no ETA on when power might be restored as of 12:59 p.m.

The second outage in the greater Langley area happened at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday, affecting 2,197 customers for the same reason as wires down. This outage impacts customers east of 192 Street, south of 58 Avenue, north of 24 Avenue and west of 236 Street.
