Abbotsford Police arrest 2, recover stolen property following business break and enter investigation
ABBOTSFORD – Two men known to police have been charged for their alleged roles in a break and enter at a business in which roughly $20,000 worth of stolen goods and other merchandise were taken.
Abbotsford PD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Walker says officers responded to a report of a break and enter at a business in the 1800 block of Forge Place on August 27, 2026, at approximately 3:57 a.m. Suspects fled the scene in a vehicle before police arrived.
When police arrived at the business, responding officers determined furniture and other merchandise had been stolen. Patrol officers quickly identified the suspect vehicle and two suspects, enabling them to advance the investigation and gather evidence that resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a home in the 33700 block of Marshall Road on Friday, Sept. 11.
Sgt. Walker says the search resulted in the successful recovery of the stolen property, while the suspect vehicle was seized as offence-related property.
