No injuries reported after plane winds up in the Fraser River Tuesday

CHILLIWACK – No injuries have been reported to a pilot after a plane wound upside down in the Fraser River in Chilliwack on Tuesday.

In a brief statement sent to Fraser Valley Today, Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Corporal Carmen Kiener says police were called to the scene Tuesday night.

“Officers attended this incident last night. The lone occupant fortunately suffered no injuries and criminality is not believed to be a factor at this time,” Cpl. Kiener said.
