LANGLEY — Langley police have arrested a suspect in connection with a serious crime that took place more than five months ago.

RCMP responded to the report of an unknown man breaking into a home in the Aldergrove area of Langley on March 13, at roughly 2:21 a.m.

The victim allegedly confronted the suspect and was assaulted during a “brief struggle”.

Investigators have since worked to find and locate a suspect, and on August 19, the BC Prosecution Service approved charges of attempted murder, assault with a weapon, break-and-enter of a dwelling house and disguising face with intent to commit an offence against 29-year-old Christian James MacLean.
