Local talent taking center stage at Chilliwack Cultural Centre this August
CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Cultural Centre is shining a spotlight on some of the homegrown musicians who have been blessing local ears with their skill this August.
Dead End Friends, The Unbranded and Maddi K are taking the stage at Rotary Hall Studio Theatre for “The Art of Local Music”.
“Performing at The Centre is an opportunity for people to see that Chilliwack’s music scene isn’t only something you can see at a bar, but where there are original pieces of work from people whose art is shaped by our land and our people,” said Maddi Krulicki.
“There’s such a variety of music genres being performed, from rock to country to theatrical modern alternative rock. […] Being in a safe and inviting space is exciting, because I can share a different approach to how people can see a concert.”
