12-year-old girl reported missing in Surrey

SURREY – Police in Surrey are appealing to the public for help in locating a 12-year-old girl who was last seen a little over 24 hours ago.

Surrey Police Service spokesperson Sgt. Ali Gailus says Ganavi Ksheer Sagar was last seen at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23 in the 6200 block 146 Street. 

Ganavi Ksheer Sagar is described as South Asian, 5’1” tall, 150 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes.

Sgt. Gailus says she was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey or black pants, white shoes, and a blue Nike backpack.

She is believed to be on foot and may be in the area of North Surrey. Sgt. Gailus says police and family are concerned and are requesting assistance from the public, media and social media to assist in locating her.
