Semi-truck lights on fire on Coquihalla Highway Sunday

HOPE — No one was injured after a fire on the Coquihalla Highway early Sunday morning (Mar. 15).

At around 4 a.m., crews responded to a semi-truck and cargo trailer on Highway 5 northbound, near the Othello exit.

The fire had spread into nearby brush by the time two trucks and six firefighters from the Hope Fire Department arrived at the scene.

RCMP and BCEHS also attended the incident.
