Police seek additional victims in Surrey child pornography investigation
SURREY — The Surrey Police Service (SPS) and RCMP are releasing images of two suspects in an appeal to hear from more victims in relation to a child exploitation investigation.
In October 2024, Surrey RCMP Special Victims Unit investigators launched an investigation into alleged child sexual abuse offences between 2021 and 2024. A man and a woman were then identified, arrested and charged with a number of offences.
The BC Prosecution Service have recently approved charges for 28-year-old Carter Cooke and 21-year-old Tkhu Khyonh “Mika” Nhuien on December 10, 2025.
Cooke has been charged with making, possessing, accessing and distributing child pornography, as well as sexual interference of a person under 16 and luring a child under 18 years of age.
