Drag strip partners with new River Valley Ford dealership in Mission

MISSION — Mission Raceway Park has now found a new official sponsor in the community’s latest car dealership.

River Valley Ford announced the partnership in a joint announcement with the Raceway on Saturday, November 15.

“As we establish ourselves in Mission, it’s important to us that we don’t just show up, we show up and give back,” said General Manager of River Valley Ford, Tej Patel.

“Sponsoring the drag strip is a meaningful first step in building strong relationships here and contributing to the local culture, families, and traditions that make Mission so special.”

Signage and activations featuring River Valley Ford branding will be displayed across the drag strip throughout the 2026 season, as the dealership invests in local motorsport and community initiatives.

River Valley Ford opened in August 2025 along the Lougheed Highway.

The Raceway hosts thousands of racers and fans each year and is one of Canada’s top motorsport facilities, touting a strong presence in drag racing, road racing and other special events for over 40 years.
