Langley RCMP call out N driver after being clocked at 2x the speed with multiple vehicle violations
LANGLEY – A Class 7 novice driver is paying the price for their boorish behaviour in Langley after being clocked at double the speed with no N decal displayed and other vehicle violations.
According to a social media post, Langley RCMP officers stopped a white Audi S4 near 208 Street and 88 Avenue after radar confirmed the driver was blazing at a 99 km/h in a 50 zone.
To make matters worse, police said the driver had tinted windows, an apparent violation, and improperly displayed the license plate, with no N decal exhibited either.
“Some people collect points. Others collect violations,” Langley RCMP said. “Reminder: If you’re trying to set personal bests, save it for the track, not Langley roads.”
