TEDxChilliwack to Return in the Spring

CHILLIWACK — The popular grassroots event, which hasn’t been held in Chilliwack since 2022, will be back with a new lineup and a new venue in May. 

The theme for 2027 will be “You Don’t Have to Agree.” 

“Bringing TEDxChilliwack back is about sharing ideas that challenge us, inspire us, and help us see our community and the world differently,” says Michael Berger, one of the event’s organizers.  

According to a news release outlining plans for the upcoming date, the event has previously showcased the power of local ideas through speakers sharing perspectives on science, agriculture, personal growth, and community life.

While the organizers will be curating most of the speakers, they are two spots up for grabs.  Applications to be a speaker open on November 3 and close on November 29.

Thousands of TEDx events are held around the world every year. 

TEDxChilliwack hits the stage May 28, 2027 with only 100 tickets available. 

Tickets go on sale March 15.
