Woman arrested twice in one night for disturbance at hospital, spitting at security guard: Mission RCMP
MISSION – Police in Mission say a woman was arrested twice last week for allegedly uttering threats and spitting at a security guard, and later causing a disturbance at Mission Memorial Hospital.
According to a statement from Mission RCMP spokesperson Corporal Harrison Mohr, a security guard contacted police at approximately 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19 after he was allegedly assaulted at his job site. The security guard had been stationed at a property on Preston Boulevard, off the Cedar Valley Connector, when a woman trespassed onto the property he was looking after. Police say when the security guard asked her to leave, she allegedly threatened him and spat in his face.
The woman was arrested nearby for assault and uttering threats, Cpl. Mohr said. After being arrested, she was released with a court date and conditions not to have contact with the security guard.
Later that same night, however, the security guard was at Mission Memorial Hospital to get checked for any contagious diseases due to being spit on, when the woman also showed up at the hospital, and staff reported she was causing a disturbance. Corporal Mohr says she was arrested again and held to appear in provincial court the following day.
