MISSION – Police in Mission and the BC Coroners Service need help from the public identifying a man that died in Mission in July 2026.
According to a statement from Mission RCMP spokesperson Corporal Harrison Mohr, a man was struck by a train on the tracks south of Lougheed Highway, near the intersection of Highway 11 in Mission, sometime before 7:30 am on July 11, 2026. Sadly, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Despite pursuing various investigative avenues – including reviewing outstanding missing persons reports – police and the BC Coroners Service have not yet been able to identify the man, and are now releasing a sketch of him in hopes that someone will recognize him.
